From August to October 2018, we held a new round of consultation with feedback surveys and a series of open days for each of the Warkworth, North, North West and South growth areas. The purpose was to seek feedback on the project options being investigated for each of the items originally identified in the 2016 Preferred Transport Network Plans. It also provided an update on what’s happened since 2016, Auckland Council(external link)’s Structure Planning process, and what the next steps are in our programme.

With regard to Warkworth, the Supporting Growth team will be at the Hill Street Improvements(external link)(external link) open day events at Warkworth Town Hall on Saturday 24 November, 10am-1pm, and Wednesday 28 November 3.30pm-7pm, with information about feedback received on the transport options for the area and to answer your questions about the programme of work.
When the Supporting Growth programme began in 2015, Manawhenua, local boards, the public and a wide range of stakeholders were involved and consulted in the development of the preferred network for each area. A summary of the results of this consultation is available here(external link). Feedback gained in this period helped inform the Preferred Transport Network Plans [PDF, 8 MB] published in late 2016.
